What you will be learning | We will be viewing a 1 bedroom flat. As we enter; we will be looking at personal safety. We will then show you how to set your template and why taking a left to right approach is beneficial.
As we move through each area and room we will review and discuss how to describe the components and issues that you see and the level of detail that you should include in your reports both now and as you develop your service. |

Session 2
13:00 – 15:00 | Practical guidance – furniture and appliances (live – video led) | |
What you will be learning | In this session we will be looking at furniture; how to describe and capture issues, what the legal requirements that govern fire safety are and how objective evidence is again vital when compiling the report.
We will discuss smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, their use and where they should be sited and finally look at what information you should be capturing when detailing meters. At every point in the training questions are encouraged and any that remain unanswered will be taken forward and sent out to attendees at the end of the session. |
